Now, we will create our own digital cat. It will have blinking eyes, be able to detect, if you stroke it and it will get impatient when it’s ignore for too long.

Preparation
Build the following circuit. For the yellow LEDs, use male-female jumper wires or cut and twist normal ones.
Cut the wires in the middle using scissors (Better, you take an old scissors.) 
Take care. The yellow wire must be connected to the long leg (anode) of the LED. 
Twist the bare metal end of the wire tight around the long leg. 
And now to the same with the black wire and the shorter leg (cathode). 
It should look like that. Now bend the wires to the back. 
Wrap some tape around every connection but take care that both sides don’t touch. 
The tape can just be pushed. To the same with the second LED.
